PRIME (PoweRline Intelligent Metering Evolution) represents a public, open and non-proprietary telecommunication architecture which supports AMM functionalities and enables the design of electricity networks, or smart grids.
The target of PRIME is to establish a set of international standards which will allow for full interoperability between equipment and systems from different providers. In this way, competition in the metering market will benefit utilities and customers alike.
PRIME defines an architecture that has been designed to be low-cost, but also high-performance. It uses Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing ( OFDM) in narrowband frequency ranges.
Andrea Informatique has implemented a complete and tested PRIME Stack, that we now propose to our customers. This package complies with the 1.3.6 version.
This package includes the MAC layer, the CL_NULL layer, the CL_432 layer, the CL_IPV4 layer and the CL_IPV6 layer.
Andrea is a member of the PRIME Alliance.
